Welcome to The Cascadilla School

The Cascadilla School, founded in 1876 as a preparatory school for Cornell University, is an independent co-educational, not-for-profit high school.

The school offers students an accelerated curriculum in grades nine through twelve as well as in a post graduate year. Cascadilla School is recognized and accredited by the New York State Department of Education and has maintained its historical association with Cornell University through the use of its libraries, dining halls, and other facilities. Students from countries all over the world and from the United States are guided by an expert faculty on its campus in Ithaca, New York. Cascadilla graduates go on to matriculate at leading colleges and universities

08-07-2013   Cascadillians named AP Scholars

Three Cascadillians have been recognized by the College Board for their performance on the Advanced Placement (AP) Exams. Xinxin Wang (14) was named an AP Scholar and Ziwei Liao (13) and Lizhou Sha (14) were named AP Scholars with Distinction. Lizhou Sha, a Cascadilla junior, was also named a National AP Scholar. Congratulations!

Congratulations to John Maines ('74), journalist at the Sun Sentinel of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, for winning the Pulitzer Prize in April!
