Welcome to The Cascadilla School

The Cascadilla School, founded in 1876 as a preparatory school for Cornell University, is an independent co-educational, not-for-profit high school.

The school offers students an accelerated curriculum in grades nine through twelve as well as in a post graduate year. Cascadilla School is recognized and accredited by the New York State Department of Education and has maintained its historical association with Cornell University through the use of its libraries, dining halls, and other facilities. Students from countries all over the world and from the United States are guided by an expert faculty on its campus in Ithaca, New York. Cascadilla graduates go on to matriculate at leading colleges and universities

Congratulations to all of our graduating seniors who are members of the new Cascadilla Class of 2010!

02-24-2010   School Building is 120 this year

Cascadilla School will be celebrating the 120th anniversary of its historic School Building throughout 2010. The red brick School Building was built in 1890 to house the original classrooms for Cascadilla and has been used continuously for our classes ever since.

02-14-2010   Ski Club continues

The Cascadilla Ski Club members ski at Greek Peak once a week. See the Office for more details.
